The vision for Project Macfrica started with a conversation. 
My sister’s life has currently taken her to a small village called Eldoret Town, Kenya where she is assisting with an orphanage for abandoned children. During one of our conversations, I was fascinated by how she described the children’s reactions to the webcam in her laptop. The children couldn’t get enough of the reflection of their own image on this piece of equipment that they couldn’t yet understand. They were drawn to it. This was the light bulb moment. My opportunity to take what I do, what I’m good at, and use it for something worthwhile. Macfrica was born.
